Introducing Kelton Hill: A Lifetime of Service, Family Values, and Local Commitment

Meet Kelton Hill, a dedicated law enforcement officer with an impressive 37-year career, proudly serving the Douglas County community for over three decades. Kelton has been an integral part of District 2, contributing to its growth and prosperity.

Beyond his duty as a law enforcement officer, Kelton is a devoted family man, celebrating 34 years of marriage with his wife, Chevon. Their family is a testament to their commitment to building strong relationships and a thriving community. 


Kelton and Chevon have raised three exceptional children, each making their mark in their respective fields. Jazmind, an Airforce Pilot soaring high in the skies, Kelton II, following in his father's footsteps as a Law Enforcement Officer, Jori, a dedicated Doctor of Physical Therapy, and Cierra, Kelton's daughter-in-law and a proud fellow Law Enforcement Officer.

The Hill family is expanding with two adorable grandkids, Kelton III and Cai, bringing joy and laughter to their household. Excitingly, another bundle of joy, Kason, is on the way, promising more love and happiness for generations to come.

A resident of Douglas County District 2 for 31 years, Kelton's roots run deep within the community. His local commitment is unwavering, and he has played key roles in community leadership, serving as the President of the Fairfax Homeowners Association and as CEO and President of the Mt. Carmel Football and Cheerleading Association.

In addition to his family values and local commitment, Kelton's community service extends to various leadership roles, including coaching youth sports for a decade and serving as a public address announcer for New Manchester and Lithia Springs High Schools.

In the academic realm, Kelton is committed to fostering educational opportunities. As a proud alumnus, he holds a BA in Organizational Securities and Management from the University of Phoenix and an MPA from Albany State University. 

 


Kelton is not just a law enforcement officer; he is a community leader, deeply involved in the Mu Mu Mu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. As the chair of the Mentoring and Scholarship Committees, Kelton has been a driving force behind initiatives that empower and support the youth, successfully increasing scholarships from five to an impressive twenty in his first year.
